There is something special about Dover, Delaware.
I can feel it in the familiar faces at local businesses like the House of Coffi, in neighbors who still stop to say hello, and in the way people in this community look out for one another.
Dover has the heart and warmth of a small town, with tree-lined streets and historic homes, while also offering the opportunities and amenities of a growing city.
It is a place where history and progress stand side by side—a reminder to me that growth should never come at the expense of the community.
As with any town in our great state, Dover's greatest strength doesn't come from its beautiful streets or historic architecture. It comes from its people.
I am here for you—the people. I believe you deserve a leader who listens, takes action, respects every voice, and understands how easily the concerns of everyday Americans can get lost in the noise of political discourse.
During my visit to the House of Coffi in Dover, I met people from all walks of life: a high school student, a PhD candidate, two moms named Susan, and another brilliant and thoughtful woman named Joy.
Their backgrounds were different, their experiences were unique, and their perspectives varied—but they shared something important: a passion for positive change and a desire to support a candidate who is willing to listen and help make their voices heard.
Those conversations reminded me why I am running.
I am ready to be a voice for the people and fight for meaningful change in family court and domestic violence policy, healthcare and mental healthcare, support for working families, and opportunities that create good jobs.
I believe America's policies should reflect the needs of the people living and working here today—not the assumptions or priorities of generations past.
Dover reminds me that progress is strongest when it is rooted in community. I want to help build a future where every voice matters, every family has an opportunity to thrive, and our government works for the people it was created to serve.
That is the kind of leadership I am ready to bring to Washington.
